The West Watercolor Collection by Carl Whitten I travel to Idaho and the western U.S. to visit family and friends. One of my favorite places is Redfish lake in Idaho. You can really feel small as you lookup at the Sawtooth mountain range that borders its banks. That's me next to the boat. This painting of Redfish lake is one I did using a combination of time-lapse images within a short time to get the peaks and clouds the way I wanted them. Kind of plein air painting through the lens of a webcam. Just without the harsh conditions of winter. I will post more of my watercolor paintings of The West in the future.
